Syntra Vlaanderen builds voice network with Opera 216e (Forum 300)

Syntra Vlaanderen, http://www.syntra.be, is the government agency responsible for enhancing independent entrepreneurship in the Flanders region of Belgium. They needed a state of the art voice communications platform throughout their network of 18 small offices across the region.

Solution
Kris Christiaens, head of IT of Syntra Vlaanderen, says that they turned to Belgacom to install the Forum 300 (a version of the Opera 216e), with voicemail and auto-attendant options in each of its small regional offices with 2-3 staff : Tongeren, Hasselt, Gent, Aalst, Neerpelt, Sint-Niklaas, Asse, Jette, Ieper, Veurne, Kortrijk, Roeselare, Oostende, Antwerpen, Genk, Leuven (Heverlee), Turnhout and Mechelen.

The ease of call handling offered by the digital system phones Forum Phone 320 and forum Phone 310 now ensures a smooth and professional flow of calls through these busy local offices.

The remote maintenance and upgrade capability of the system enables Belgacom to provide a high level of availability to ensure uninterrupted communications.
