Requirement
Gerrit Kool and Eddy van den Bosch needed a reliable and flexible solution to respond to queries and problems from the field. Whether they are working in the office or at a remote site, they must be able to respond to field engineers within a pre-defined response time. Using a standard broadband connection both at their office location and at their homes, they wanted to have full access to their data and voice services.
Solution
Gerrit, Eddy and their colleagues decided to install an Opera Flexicom system, Vox DaVo II, with an applications card that enables VoIP channels. With remote Operafone IP Executive key sets, d285 IP, installed in their homes, they could avail of the full functionality of a d285 key set. At the office location they installed the reqular digital Operafone Executive key sets, d285, with the same user interface as th IP version. In this way they have reliable access to the facilities of the Opera Flexicom system at all times whether they are working remotely or in the office.
