Customer Requirement
Juba Transport, based in Ederveen, is a leading Dutch transport company. A key requirement for the telephone system of Juba Transport was to distinguish between various types of incoming callers. The company has several MSN phone numbers for different departments. Callers to these numbers can be answered anywhere in the company once the called department is displayed before answering the call. In addition they wanted a platform that with a professional system phone and a complete range of business facilities.
Solution
Juba Transport installed the Opera 4.12e which is marketed by KPN in the Netherlands under the brand name Vox DaVo I along with the with executive system phones. For all incoming calls the Vox DaVo I lets the recipient know which of the company’s MSN telephone numbers the caller has dialled. This is displayed on the bright blue back lit screen of the executive system phone and, more importantly, there is a different ringing tone depending on which department is being called. The executive system phones also offer the full range of facilities in a simple and accessible manner so users are able to benefit from the rich set of voice features.
